What kind of quotes have you gotten for insurance for the first year? Usually pretty spendy for a new driver.

Be careful.........you may be "aiming" in the wrong direction.

What do you mean by thatslow.rider Thanks this.

$3,000 a month
-
3000 a month is that cargo and physical damage your talking about
-
Just the truck

If you are running under someone else's authority, your insurance should be $500 to 1000 for bobtail and 2 to 3 percent of the value of the truck for physical and collision insurance. As far as financing - 25% down payment on a $50K truck is going to be roughly $12K. Finance it for 36 months and pay it off in 18. Add $10k to to your M&R fund - $3k to make the payments if the truck is in the shop for an extended period of time. Good luckhonesttruth Thanks this.

#### I pay bobtail Insurence only 250 a month
So are you saying 3000 a month for bobtail or is that includes everything else. -
IMHO.
Spend 20k on a NICE truck from a Carrier/O/O with a minty CSA score and all minty inspections.
I assume you have local mechanics lined up?
