IF You were parked In Front Of The Store and Not North Of Between Wailmart and what used to be a Movie Theatre(?), then You Were Parked in The WRONG AREA.
Early '18 I used to park a Tractor ONLY on the North End near the Grass Area when Other Tractors and Combos were Present. THEN, there were zero problems, Yet I no parked Over Night, just for quick Sunday Mornin' shopping.
Hate That You Had To Pay Such A(n) (Extortion) Penalty.Another Canadian driver and andy7029 Thank this. -
Because it's private property. The owner can decide who can and who can't park there. Just because they have a big parking lot doesn't mean you can park there. It's not hard to understand.Another Canadian driver, JoeyJunk and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this.

Great story have things changed since back in the days I was driving 2005/6 i would often stop at a "Walmart" and park up for the night, however I would usually park right down the back well out of the road of the closer parking areas and would of course go in and do some shopping so I could officially say I was a customer. Unless there is a strict time limit for parking at Walmart with signs clearly marked i can't see how booting and fining a truck driver would be legal. After all Walmart relies heavily on truck drivers delivering to its many stores and always seem to allow trucks to park over night, I was never ever bothered by security when I parked however would always generally be gone by around 7 am. Perhaps things have changed after all that was some 16 years ago, maybe Walmart has less patience when it comes to allowing trucks to park, however can not see what the issue would be if its late at night with heaps of space, and the driver does not hang around during the busier hours of the day. Just curious would he of gotten a ticket if he was bob tail? Or how about an RV would they also issue them a ticket? Perhaps there's more to this story than whats let on?Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

Nobody should be parking overnight in a truck anyway at a Walmart. Often will try to stop and do some shopping and see drivers lounging in their truck taking up all the parking, get out of there ruining it for many.
Another Canadian driver and JoeyJunk Thank this. -
I don't really blame Wal Mart for not allowing it. Yes it sucks because a few bad apples ruin it for the rest of us but that's the way it is. Woke up one morning at a wal mart in Nebraska..the Knight driver right in front of me dumped a whole bag of trash in the parking lot and drove off..WTH? There are too many scumbags driving trucks today that don't give a #### and it's not gonna change.
