just because it's a century makes it a P O S? a lot of companies are hanging on to older pre emission trucks for a good reason. I am in a very well maintained 98 century I can get into a new truck in 4 weeks but don't know if I'm going to I have driven them before and was not impressed. so you can say what you want but this is the best job I ever had I make the money I'm only gone 4 or 5 days at a time with 2 to 3 days off every week.

oh and frankly I don't think they care if the website is updated. we have a very large customer base of LtL customers "fed ex rl carriers conway ect" you cannot make those deliveries with the tight schedules with a old truck that breaksdown at 2 a.m. and they do not advertise for drivers because the turnover rate is so low. I think the website is more or less there for the drivers to check their pay

I don't know anything about them besides what I saw on their website. With that in mind, it shows they may run old equipment. That's the only judgement I am making about them based off of what THEY are putting out there. I have said nothing about their hometime, customer base, driver retention, etc. but only their equipment. That doesn't necessarily mean they are a bad company but was just stating a fact, not speculation. Let's be real tho, why would you want to drive a 15yr old truck over a newer model? Could it be your opinion is just a little biased? Its not a bad thing to defend your company but we must also be true to ourselves and others. And with you confirming that you are indeed driving a 15yr old truck simply means that I was absolutely not offbase to make my comment. Anyways I hope it continues to go well there for you.

There's a HUGE difference between 15yr old components and brand new ones. I don't care if you give the truck an oil change every other day, that's not going to stop the turbo, clutch, rear end, electronics or the hundreds of other old and worn out parts from eventually going out. There's a reason most larger carriers have trade cycles. I don't believe it all if you tell me you're ok driving a truck almost two decades old. I guess whatever helps you sleep at night.

My whole drive train has less than 300 k on it so no worrying there. The big companies also trade out drivers every for months and trucks every for years. A truck should have a useful lifespan of ten to fifteen years.

Well if you feel comfortable with it then that's all that matters. My personal preference is newer equipment for obvious reasons.

I prefer a newer one also but just for looks not the mechanical advantage. I spent too much time broke down in "new" trucks. Dpf,egr, scr, def bunch of crap if ya ask me I like my old truck cuz when I open the hood I know what everything is and what it does.

I had looked into them a while back, no open trucks!!! good to know that the turn over is so low, and dedicated is great too!! Do they do owner ops there??? Been thinking about going that route again since I like to set things up my way inside... just curious....
