Trucks. Second hand market

Oh hell, just sold my 2020 western star with 360k with apu for 165k. #### I feel cheated and it is in really nice shape and fully operational

 

Somebody's dreaming to get that price.

 

Flip flop wearing drivers will pay it. 3 of them running coast to coast hauling freight for $1.50 a mile. FYI I know this because a broker I deal with regularly. Brokered a load from Birmingham AL
To southern CA for $1.65 a mile they were happy to grab it. I just shake my head

 

The churches are buying the trucks, so it's easier to run for nothing when you don't have truck payments

 

I just got offered 185k at the flying J for my 2019 760 lol, it’s getting insane! I know a guy who just offloaded a 2018 LT for 145k with 995 000kms!!!

 

The money means less and less these days.
Hold on to your iron, if it works good.
If not, let it go.

 

I just got that semi new w900. They brought it into the dealer in town to get safety. Sitting on the lot they had a few guys ask if for sale one even offering 30k more then I paid. Just had an American offer 210k USD with out seeing it. It's beyond stupid. What happens to guys when things fall apart and they have a 5k plus a month payment on a truck they paid 300k for

 

The same thing that happened in 2008, just the cycle repeating itself.
