I mean it depends in Connecticut they lower the limits from 65mph all the way down to 35 in a stretch of road that folks usually do 20 over ANYWAY... so obviously everybody is doing 55 cuz they slow down 10mph outta respect, but then they're all "reckless driving" according to the law and so the law just becomes arbitrary and meaningless, designed to make it easy to write more tickets and prop up this quarters latest budget gap

 

I really wish they would give out more tickets in construction zones.

 

I really wish they'd actually construct something in construction zones. 95% of the time it's just blocked lanes, cones everywhere, a cop hiding around a corner, and no workers to be found anywhere in the entire zone.

Meanwhile some ####### in front actually slows down even when there aren't any speed reduction signs up.

 

Reminds me of drivers layed over for the weekend and never get out of the truck to check anything or god forbid talking to another driver.
