Well have you ever been in one? The Ride, The one piece windshield, the view is better, I'm sure there are engineers that will tell me that the steering isn't any different then any other truck, That the chassis is a chassis and there is nothing different, I find I have more energy left at the end of the day then when driving something else. I'm sure I am leaving things out that make a Volvo good, but this is my reasons.

I will take a Peterbilt 389 any day of the week. They ride very smoothly and are like a brick in the wind.

The truck I had before this was a KW w900L. This is also a very nice truck, however the KW dealer gave me such poor service I will not go back there again.

I currently have a 2000 Freightliner Classic. The seat is very worn out and the ride leaves a lot to be desired. I am making more money with this truck than I ever did with my 09 KW. (emissions issues) HOWEVER - at the end of every day, I am MUCH more tired physically from driving this FL. I am figuring on keeping this old truck as long as I can, I would rather spend money into a truck with NO emissions systems to avoid the problems the newer trucks gave me in the past. Some will say the dpf+def trucks work well, and I agree, however - it still looks like a game of Russian Roulette to me. As a single truck o/o, I cannot afford to go back to having an unreliable truck.

One that makes money and goes down the road legal passing shops. That's the best truck. A comftertable truck is just a bonus.

Everybody needs to put in a little time in a cab over with a good old cable shifter.
