    I use Truckers Path Pro.

But I might look into a few others listed above.

I don't why they allow this to happen. The app has GPS because it shows where you are. It would be super easy to fix if they didn't allow you to update the parking status unless you were at that truck stop as verified by the GPS.

The above mentioned are good but don't overlook Google Maps. It has an easy search and is very fast plus a lot of other perks such as traffic and the most current satellite views

I used to use DAT, but it was hard to find which stop was closer because if you sorted by distance, it would list all directions, if you sorted by direction, then it would include some that weren't on the highway.

As most of my points are at TA/Petro, I use their app, as long as I am going to TA/Petro.

    jammer910Z Thanks this.

That's where Truckers Path Pro shines... The graphical user interface shows either "all around you" or you can set a route to the city you are heading towards and it only shows the requested items along your path. And it's graphical not a list, so it's easy to see how far, etc... Then for more details just tap on the item you want and it provides more details.

I think I have been more impressed with the User Experience of Truckers Path Pro than anything else I have seen.

But always good to check out other apps too

Bean Jr. and jammer910Z Thank this.

In addition to those types of drivers, there are others who will change the parking status from "full" to "moderate" when the entire lot is indeed full. So, drivers like me who were close to reaching the 14 hour limit relied on the accuracy of the information in Trucker Path. Never again.

When the South fork in Gurdon, AR shows full, I just have to laugh. Ask @wore out, you could park every truck in the state of Arkansas in that lot and not fill it up.

That's true. They just need to eliminate the option to update the lot status from the information page. There is no need for that option to be there unless you are there.it already asks you to update automatically when it detects you're near a location when you open the app, that's all they really need.
