    Need some advice here
Taking my 10 here in Texas. Parked mostly by myself, truck off, side windows open.

Along comes someone and backs in on my passenger side. .. no big deal right ? Well.....

They proceed to sit and have a 15 min conversation, then pull out and then switch and decide to back right back in the same spot.

I get out and ask what there doing. Dude says "we getting in out backing practice"

This is a TMC truck b.t.w. im like dude , you really think its appropriate to do this right now ?
Im like its MIDNIGHT and people are sleeping
Your suppose to be training him properly , not how to be an ####### and develop bad habits etc.

They back in next to me and start talking again so I roll window down and it got a bit heated lol.

For some reason I expected way better out of a TMC "trainer" But he saw absolutely nothing wrong with his actions .

Mind you there are lots of spots here to practice while not disturbing others like they did me.

Am I in the wrong here ?

YTA here. It's a truck stop. Trucks are gonna be driving around and backing into spots and pulling out of em. Close the curtains and go to sleep. If they don't hit you it's not your problem.

Let me guess…you’re also the guy who cries because a reefer parks next to you?

If you open your windows you will hear everything around you loud and clear. Get used to it.
In truck stops trucks pull in and go out at odd hours, and if they decide to do training pulling in and out at odd hours it is their right to do so.
To your question... Yes, you are in the wrong here.

Trucking is a 24/7 endeavor, but only by the Truckers.

This is why you don't park in the mega truck stops. Mega truck stops draw mega fleeters (and foreigners) and everything that comes with them. Park somewhere else and avoid all that mess...

For the record I'd be pissed too. Nothing you can do about it other than leave.

That is a good trainer to find the time to help with the student's backing, especially at midnight when the guy would rather be sleeping. It is not like backing is something they can practice any time tgey wish. Your spot was likely the safest place they could do it at without risking hitting something.

When I ran reefer it always made my day when I could park between two flatbeds.

If you gotta ask if you're in the wrong, then either you're looking for validation or verbal abuse. You dang sure ain't gonna get validation from me on this one lol because I think you were wrong 100%.

I'm sensing that you must be an inexperienced driver. Your sleep is your responsibility. You had no business confronting those drivers. The first thing you need to learn is that trucking is not a 8-4:30 kind of industry. It's 24/7. I actually have respect for that driver for training that student on backing at that time of night, and in the truck stop. That trainer knows that's the reality of trucking. Backing into spots at the truck stop when its late, when you're tired, is the reality of trucking. The industry needs more of those trainers.
