I’m very concerned as the trucking industry is slow right now , I was off last friday because of no work . I’m worried we will go into a deep recession and the problem is you can’t simply go work for another company because companies either are not hiring or cherry picking who they want . I’ve been applying to different trucking companies the last fews months with barely any calls . From roll off ,b train tanker , local fuel/ propane straight truck tanker jobs . you name it and no luck besides waste Management which has called me numerous times because they’re desperate have a $ 3000 sign on bonus . Everyone knows in todays world the Usa is the elite number #1 country when it comes to economics regarding a GDP level. Everything is traded in American funds therefore by the U.s.calling the shots, technically and eventually its possibly can be wiped out espeically now with the tariffs but on a slow drip percentage of 1% to 3%. It will still take decades to eliminate it altogether because a deficit has occur while it runs. However, balancing things out without causing more inflation or hyperinflation becomes a financial balancing act. When looking at all the angles of the financial balancing act it becomes chaos. Tbh I truly believe the future will become a 'guarantee wage' similar to welfare for those under the $50k annual income range in order of wiping out a deficit for not just America but most Nations in the world.

They're the first to lay off. As far as a recession goes, when were we not in a recession? Just about everyone has to into debt for years to buy a car, house, or get an education. We won't even talk about credit card debt. If the everyone including the country is playing from behind, when was the economy ever truly good? Thr problem is, they use the wealthy as the measuring stick.

From my own observations over the years most debt is because people have this inherent need to impress others with material things.

I think definitely think it's fair to say that's a contributing factor. Unnecessry material gain is sometimes a hard concept for me to wrap my mind around.

On a dedicated run for maple leaf. Hiring more drivers to keep up with increased production. In this particular business, they feel the tariffs are not going to be a major issue.
