I got a t600 with a mxs acert and avg 7 . don't use cruise it will cost ya .5mpg and if ya have to have it get the soft cruise, its just that's easy, go in and say set it to soft cruise. mine has nothing done, even the stock muffler, its how I drive it.

When my truck was new, it had soft cruise. I hated it . I had it turned off.

Setting that defines how much drift from the set speed is desired. Soft cruise will reduce throttle surge when taking up after the bottom of a hill or prevent blasting over the top of the next one.

Might need to know the ecm password if you take it to an independent guy for setting changes. If you don't know it, get it done this time at a paccar or cat dealer and have them set the ecm password to all zeroes while they're in there taking your money for changing the cruise setting.

Same general exp as skateboardman. I only use cruise if I get a cramp in my right leg. Burns too much fuel and slows me down, unless running on terrain shaped like a pool table.
