Due to a divorce I quit driving and gave up my CDL this was about 3 and a
half years ago. I would like to get back on the road. Do i have to go
through school to back my CDL back? I never had an accident and my
driving record is good. I have about 5 Years exp.

no, you don`t.. i went without mine for 12 years, got my permit, found a truck, played with it for 20 min, took my test and left with a cdl. went to work local. you wont get on with a mega carrier but who wants to? that being said, all the new regulations and all that would probably be easier learning in a refresher than on your own. i`m still reading up on those. :biggrin_2552: it probably wouldn`t hurt if you had a friend with a truck, if not, go to school.
