If you have your own authority you can get loads online from sites like USHIP.

It is going to be hard to make it only hauling 1 car at time.
-
your best bet is to get a car and find others you can pick up to deliver before or after your first. trying to do one at a time will make it hard and a lose of a lot of money. you need to make best of use of your time and fuel.

The meal & gas money he was getting from friends would seem generous compared to uturd. Besides, when did they start requiring an authority? Pretty sure their motto is hear no evil, see no evil & they are not a broker. Just a trash site that should be ignored.
To the op, an 18' trailer is not going to get you much & what ever it does bring will likely be in the form of a headache. Have you asked your insurance co what happens when you are transporting a $25,000+ vehicle on the trailer that is not titled to you?Terry270 Thanks this. -
Food and gas money is about all you will ever make with 1 car trailer. I'm not saying that sarcastically either. Need at least a 4 car in this business but preferably morebrian991219 Thanks this.

legally, you must have a dot #. and comply by the same regulation as any commercial operation, including HOS.

Yeah lol. Doesn't mean that it actually happens. Even on shipping wars there were people operating illegally!brian991219 Thanks this.
