My average for the 1st quarter this year was 5.8mpg, for the 2nd quarter I averaged 6mpg. I am sure I didn't install Turbo3000 lately. So when I get a chance I will check if someone installed that device on my truck and did not tell me:biggrin_2552:. Sure I am just kidding............................................

I'm having a hard time finding out why my truck is so hard on fuel. Had it in for more work and the mechanic found a turbo 3000 behind the compressor on the fuel line I didn't see. He removed it and I'm UP 3 tenths... He says he has seen them before add air to the fuel and make more problems than they are worth.

PS; anybody wanting a turbo3000 I'll sell mine!

I've only saw the turbo 3000D installed in the high pressure line.

Yea. I always got a kick out of ol' Ruffie saying the engine manufacturers didn't use the T3000 because the "accountants" wouldn't go for it, or something like that.

Er, no, it's cause the magic pipe doesn't work.

    CrayzyCatPower Thanks this.

I always figured it was BS, but one day I had a look at the installation kit for the Mercedes....

It was 2 barbed fittings with pipe thread on one end and a couple hose clamps. They wanted you to take a knife and cut out an appropriate length out of the plastic fuel line and instal the thing there. It was about $200 as well.

Well, on the Mercedes, that plastic line holds about 90 PSI and actually failed enough times that there was a recall on it and the replacement was made of metal. I wonder how long those hose clamps held up......
