turbo 3000d does it work?

The only things I like about the Turbo 3000 is the girls in their advertisments.

 

And the marketing idea behind it. Take a cheap piece of pipe, add some fittings and a label and sell it for big money. "a fool and his money are easily parted". I'm going to start selling super fuel pellets for $100 a shovel full. Sure it's just driveway gravel but it'll make you feel as if your saving fuel because the tank won't hold as much next time you fill up! No waiting 30 days for those results!

This is the same dude that says air tabs help and trailer skirts and all that bs? Only thing that helps is controlling your right foot. But that pee jug is a good idea. And here's a quote from 10-4 mag they got them selves another sucker. Just a waste of cash if you want MPG's go out and get a columbia that always average's 7 or more.

 

I am sure you could find guys out their to buy it.

 

Actually Luis Super Singles, Ported Exaust manifolds, & performance mufflers do work with improving fuel mileage.... But they aren't a $100 bolt on item either like the turbo3000, There is an investment there to gain results.

I have a friend with a columbia who would love to see the day he gets 7 mpg. He's averaging just a little over 6

 

it is a gimick, it does not work, bought a couple of them becaue our friend bought a bunch of them at a discount, never saw anything improve, I don't beleive most of these gimmicks like airtabs and all that crap, I think they are all a waste of money

If you really want to save fuel and money slow the #### down, you can't run 75 or 80 mph all the time and expect to get great fuel milage.

 

Thanks for the correction redd. Im not big on this fuel efficiency until i drive. I know singles do improve mpgs but rutherford is full of it for the most part and just making cash on this. Yea bearly any people follow him but someone on another site posted a picture of a classic with all his add-ons. Im still wet behind the ears.

 

We can agree with that! Now don't get me wrong, he does have some good ideas. But not many. And all these products that he is testing are on his own trucks. Single axle day cabs that are governed at 60 mph, pull the same trailers & loads, same highways, & same fuel stops everyday.

His operation doesn't compare with a real coast to coast operation.
