There is a young man 22 years old leased to Pape with a 379 N14 9 speed overdrive 3.90rears and 24.5 low profile tires that hauls a lot of the bigger tractors between Iowa and Baltimore that I ran with several times.the tires are M726el bridgestones. we fueled up to gether and he was over 7 mpg every time I was at 6. He runs slow 60 or less and doesn't let the truck idleIn a years time he will spend 9000 dollars less on fuel than I will. That is some serious money.I run a cat 3406c but it put out a little over 600 horsepower. The only thing he has is the fass system which I have also In my opinion you got to run slow to get fuel savings. This is a true story as that boy is my son
Nolelover61 and eeb Thank this. -
I put one on a 2000 ws ,12.7 det.,After install at 600k miles,it blew carbon out the stax for a week.I write down all fuel stops, mpg etc,it works for me,noticed 9-11% increase but it blew carbon all over my wifes car [white vinyl top].I have no doubt but ymmv.

All of these cute little add-ons. The only question I ever ask is do any OEM manufacturers put them on or make them an option. If the answer is no, I am very skeptical.

Don't you know all that emission control equipment improves fuel economy?! Don't believe everything the oem tells you and don't expect them to do your homework for you. I'm also very skeptical of the Turbo 3000d, but I've seen other non-OEM stuff work rather well.
