    That's what I keep wondering or if the ECM is bad. I've had it programmed twice now by 2 different ( supposedly) Detroit experts and still no boost over 30 psi.

    Ten4. I can't say for sure either way but calling and talking to Richard would probably get a solid answer. If they don't work on Detroit, I bet he'll have a good recommendation for someone that does. PP are absolute thieves and crooks. Pretty much anything would be better IMO.

    Richard is very knowledgeable and he'll take the time to talk to you on the phone. I've never been there but I talked to him on the phone about some Mack stuff

    Problem is the k31 the waste gate opens at 30 psi you can adjust them some but any more then 35 lbs boots the turbo won't last the 171702 will boost more but has same lag won't start to spool till 1300 or more the 171701 is probably better with a 550 tune less low lag and still get good upper rpm boost the k31 is great at 500 hp and below fast to spool and at that HP you will get more out of it 171701 for 470 to 580 HP after that the 171702 is the best push more fuel get more boost

    Also something to check….on drivers side on manifold you’ll see a little black plastic box about the size of 1/2 pack of cigarettes. That’s ur boost sensor. Change it out. They’re cheap.
