KW T660 2012 A few years ago my turbo and actuator failed but I quickly repaired it. I thought it would solve the problem but soon after turbo/actuator failed again and engine brake went weak. I went through many mechanics, replaced parts about 4 times that year and all mechanics told me the same thing, to keep replacing turbo/actuator. Every time I would replace parts my truck went back to running back to normal for about 6 months and then again turbo/engine brake failure. I especially noticed the turbo failure after not running my truck for a week; as soon as I would turn it back on from taking a vacation I had turbo failure. At this point I’ve exhausted all my options, I’ve spent so much money and it’s not worth repairing anymore but I’m wondering if this has happened to anyone else? My truck has a delete and I’m thinking it might be a computer problem but no certified kenworth mechanic will work on it because it’s been deleted.

Deletes eliminate high setting of jakes often.. someone had a thread recently on isx turbo acting up mostly due to carbon . He cleaned his and it works again.
Bmolina Thanks this. -
Break - as in the engine went on a break and had a vacation.
Brake - as in the engine helps you to slow down, like putting on the brakes to stop or slow down.Bmolina, QUALITYTRUCK and JB7 Thank this. -
LameMule Thanks this.

This sounds like a poor delete program, have seen many that the turbo fails in a short time and weak jakes.
