I have a friend that took these pictures in the UP of Michigan( note sunny day in the UP, der hey) Apparently, the truck was 2 weeks old. I was in my 4 wheeler several years back, driving on the interstate, I see what looked like a rather large bird on the shoulder. Didn't think much of it, got up to it, it flys up, BAM, right into the windshield, shattered it like a mosaic. When I got the windshield replaced, the tech person said it was the 2nd "turkey" that week. Watch out for turkeys,,

Many years ago, I had one fly up and hit my cabover right between the windshields. Took out both , bent the bar between the windshields and did some body damage below them. I lucked out because there was a International dealer at the next exit. I only had some small cuts, but the inside of the cab was covered in glass pieces. Those big birds can surely do some damage.

It looks like they like the flat olde school type windshields. I had one hit my curved windshield and it just bounced off, no damage to the glass.

I can vouch for that-they’re EVERYWHERE in Massachusetts!! And they can be destructive at times. If you have any flowerbeds with bulbs planted, they will eat them like it’s a buffet!!
Just ask my wife-she was pissed!!!:angry4::angry5:
