That's a good sized bird! Glad the driver is okay

A friend of mine had a hawk fly right through the windshield of his logging truck then go #######... told me that story after I showed him the barn owl I smoked and was trying to nurse back to health in the cab. "Be careful, wrap him up in a blanket in case he goes nuts"

I saw a crow smack into the windshield of a Schneider driver going into Nashville. Shattered his windshield. I suppose a turkey could do a lot more damage. I hate those things. Walk all over my deck, scratch it up, crap everywhere. More of them should be run over.

I've seriously thought about it. They look scraggly though. Also haven't checked on what shot to buy.

I hit one in a car down in Minneapolis decades back. I saw it flip in air, nail a city PD car behind me. Long before dash cameras. I kept flying.

If you look at the roof of the Coke truck, it did more damage than just a windshield. I hit something big one night, bent my right side mirror in, once I was following some truck, they hit something big, I thought it was an Eagle, but I think it was an owl. They can get pretty big too.

I have a friend in the SF Bay Area. She told me that flocks of wild turkeys roam the neighborhood. pooping everywhere and have been known to attack people. I told her that they wouldn't last a week around here where I live. She sent this pic she got from the local net.
