Got home from the road today and came back to the truck after about 4 hours. Turned the key (after letting it do the clicking and cycling noise) and absolutely nothing happens. There are no errors codes in the ECU. Tried a few times and nothing (doesn't even crank) I even unplugged all cables from the batteries for a few minutes. Did notice when screwing cables back on that the negative cable that goes to starter sparked and I heard beeping in the truck. Not sure if that was normal. Batteries are only a few months old. All 4 were replaced at the same time.

In the morning I'm going to go back and tap the starter with a hammer to see if that helps.

Any my help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Bad sol.or cross sol. out 1st. then 2ed you try to hit starter hard while someone else pushes button.

Sounds like the positive cable to the starter is corroded inside of it, and when you moved it, you made a connection. just my thoughts.

Also, remember you can take your batteries to auto-zone etc. Have them check the voltage. I had a riding lawn mower battery that had a dead cell. But the multi-meter still read 12 volts. It wouldn't turn the engine over. I had just bought it at the beginning of mowing season. Good luck!!

Brass brush and soda water! clean them up, The corrosion will drag it all out of it! Batteries could be new but the corrosion will draw it out. Good Luck.

Sorry it took so long to reply. Cleaned all the terminals real good and still nothing. Ended up being the solenoid. I appreciate everyone's input.
