I have a 2015 Mack Pinnacle CXU613 and I’m having an issue with the left turn signal. The headlights aren’t on the light switch is turned to off, I go to use the left turn signal and all the chicken lights on the left side of the trailer come on flashing in sync with the turn signal. I go to turn the headlights to daytime & the on position and the left turn signal stops working. The turn signal on the dash becomes solid. I’ve unplugged the power cable from the truck to the trailer and the left turn signal works perfectly fine as it should. Plug it back in and the problem occurs. I thought it could have been that power cord so I bought a new one, same problem. The right turn signal works perfectly fine. Any suggestions on where to start looking for a solution? Thanks

Sounds like a ground issue in the trailer, if it works fine when not plugged in to a trailer, the only other thing it could be is wiring coming out of the fire wall to your trailer plug. but to be sure check your plugs on the truck and clean them up, could be an issue inside of there to

Check the prongs on the trailer. And like already mentioned, could be a ground issue on the trailer. Wiggle the light cord at the end. I bought this tool that has help for electrical issues to get you by. IMG_7197.jpeg IMG_7198.jpeg

Problem is in the trailer. I'd be looking in areas where the tail and turn wiring are together (junction boxes, rear lights) as well as the main cord running down the trailer.

Yea I pulled out the plug and it had a decent amount of corrosion on it, went and bought a new one was going to rewire it up, maybe that’ll do the trick.
