    As I stated on mine.

It no longer shows original date. It only shows issued date. When it was renewed.

Records never "disappear". If the info goes into the system, it's there Forever ! It may be kinda' out of reach for normal inquiry, but it's still there. An example, In Ca. you can get a 3 year copy of your DMV record, or, a 10 year copy. Have you ever watched the 6 o'clock evening news and some guy was arrested for being an axe murderer, and the news station reports that he has a mostly clean record except for a domestic violence arrest 17 years ago, or, 2 parking tickets 12 years ago. Now they had to dig deep to get that info.

Criminal history doesn't have choices like the mvr does. The entire history comes with the request.

Mvr has 2 choices. I ordered the llifetime version.

New Jersey never erases anything; however if you fill the page only the 2nd page comes back and magically cleans up your record.

I think it's a federal thing they only need to go back 10 years when hiring. I was told by dmv that that's standard practice.

    You can order lifetime though.

So, you provide the prospective employer with 10 plus years of verifiable driving experience and yet they base their hiring on an arbitrary issue date on the license? If they can't understand that, they may have trouble figuring out your weekly paycheck. I think i would look elsewhere.

I thought we only provide 3 years employment.

They pull up the 10 years.

I only had to give my current gig last employment which was 7 years.

The FCMSA requires 3 years unbroken employment history AND for those drivers with over three years experience, all DRIVING jobs back an additional 7 years for a total of ten years driving history.
