    Hey. Trying to become a Truck Driver and i have a few questions/problems. Im from Chicago and i was pretty stupid when i was 17/18. I got my licence suspended for getting 2 or more speeding tickets.
    I had 3 tickets (all 3 were 15-25 mph over). Is there anything i can do or is there any companies that would work with me to help me get work in this industry? Ive been good without tickets for almos 2 and a half years. And all these tickets were within a month period of September 2015.

    You're from Chicago? You're in luck! There are plenty of trucking companies in that area ready to hire you! You'll be driving a late model white Volvo in no time. Just check out Craigslist and if the owners name is Yuri or Demetri you'll be good to go!

    Those Russians in white Volvo’s actually pay pretty well apparently. I know a couple people who quit Swift and went to work for them and they’re making about 1800 a week 1099.

    It’s about 1350. As a 1099 contractor they can claim per diem in addition to all of their other expenses on the road. And for someone with 3 reckless driving level speeding tickets, that’s more than they deserve.
