Yeah. That doesnt seem to be too much. I use verizon wireless with 4 Gig. I'm thinking just a few movies would put me over.

I ordered this same thing, but I went with the unlimited for 10 bucks more a month. Right now I am using it for my laptop and have had really good luck with it. 70 bucks a month for unlimited plan.

70 bucks for an unlimited plan through verizon. for a mifi. and if you read the fine print. i think you still capped at 10 gigs. there's really no such thing as unlimited with verizon. unless they've changed there ways recently. :biggrin_25519:

with sprint you pay 80 for the same unlimited plan. plus text, and mobile to mobile calls. everything right through your phone. used as a mobile hotspot.

and verizon coverage really isn't as good as everyone thinks. they have there dead spots just like everyone else. which seems to be about 50 percent of the country.

course, you know. if i had to have a unlimited plan. becuase i use it alot. i'd be finding another job. one that keeps me driving more then using my computer.:yes2557:

Ive checked into the Slingbox but have a few questions reguarding its use. May sound simple but here goes... Does the tv actually have to be on or just the cable box, or either? Do you have to have a receiver or can you just plug the cable wire into the slingbox without a receiver? Im just looking at getting sports and some tv shows while at resting or layed over. I only have one HD receiver box in my home and wonder if this slingbox will effect home viewing for my family if it has to go thru the receiver. Can you elaborate on how this technology works so I can better understand?
    thanks from NC

If you guys have time to watch tv then you are not working enough. But seriously I have thought about adding a tv but I probably would not watch it that much.

There's a android app for helping you point the dish. I looked into installing dish when i decided to quit contracting for the cable company. Back then it was $20 but I just looked it up again and now there a lots of them and many are free. It's supposed to make setting up painless.
