    In my case i applied on a Wednesday and received my TWIC 3 days later on Saturday which i knew they'd expedite since aside from my Passport i also showed them my D.O.D. Card where a simple background records check would indicate Government Security Clearances i've previously held both in and out of the military. Best wishes to you!

    TWIC is good for 5 years and picking it up at the place you applied is one "option" and and the other option is having it mailed to you which is the one i chose.
