Drove in coal pits, there was always a rock or chunk of shale in road, motor grader came by once a day. LOL I have no tolerance now if my funny bone gets it I go down like a two dollar lot lizard.

drove a 5x4 for about three years, never again, for the $250. CDL, I would send anyone for that?, what a joke is right, I believe the truck she was driving is an automatic, dont know about where she is, but?, In Nevada, if you take your test in an automatic, your licence will state automatic only, Oh!, she said 18 wheeler?, that trailer was a 28' single axle, might as well been bobtailing

First experience with one was after driving school. Went to a company (bulk tankers) that, the boss used a KW with steering by Armstrong and a split shifter. Was driving with them for awhile when they threw me into his truck one day and sent me out to Amish Country in PA. I learned the split shift that day along with how to wrestle with manual steering...
... did I say it was a challenge?... but fun too? I still look back on that experience fondly. I think they tossed the gauntlet to me and I took it and ran with it that day. Love a challenge and it certainly makes me appreciate what I'm driving now.
