Prairie Boy, that shiny hardware has got me going! I just noticed you and JohnP3 are Canucks, so I'm paying attention to ya on the chain thing.
I'm native to Minnesota myself, in Colorado now, so driving on ice and snow is nothing new, but I've never done it with 18 wheels underneath!

There's a thread about how to hang chains on the rack, but I haven't figured out how to copy/paste with this infernal Android system. It's in this Experienced Drivers Advice area somewhere and I posted pics of what my loaded chain rack looks like.
I carry 4 singles and 2 doubles. You don't have to carry that anymore, I just do out of habit. Requirement now is to be able to cover 7 tires. Many folks are carrying singles only now. Some companies only issue 2 link singles, the rest cables. -

You know, I'm not even starting school until January, so some here might wonder why I'm so worried about it, but anyone who's driven back and forth on I-70 through Colorado knows about trucks and chains. I figure it'll be part of my life at some point. -

Man, that is some carnage up there in that oil patch. I guess the wreckage is just part of the overhead.
When I was working on the carny, we wrecked a lot of stuff, but on a smaller scale!
