So...about two weeks ago I cut a turn too sharp and caught a light post. No damage to the post, but bent the trailer wheel. Then today I caught a parked trailer with mine (cut it too close again). No damage. Regardless, that’s two avoidable accidents in less than 2 weeks. I think my newfound career might be over?

The one thing we can all afford is to “pay attention”. Time to ante up!
Lepton1, Rollr4872, homeskillet and 6 others Thank this. -
Did you report both of them to your company?
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
You should be ok. Your now slave for next year to who ever you work for. This what most companys hope for.Lepton1, RedRover and QuietStorm Thank this.
-
Absolutely reported them. Cutting the turn too sharp has been my biggest weakness. No excuse. Take my eye off the ball for a second, then BAM!Lepton1 Thanks this.

Today was my last day with the company anyway, so they couldn’t fire me I guess. I’m more concerned that if I decide to continue down this path, am I even hirable?
-
Whew.....I mean there wasn't any significant damage per-say, but any prospective companies that aren't "second chance" companies will probably view said incidents as you being irresponsible unfortunately. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised considering your previous company will more than likely have that on your record.

Yes.
Since Uber shut down their driverless rig program and no matter how much executives hate us, drivers will be in demand. -
