Two elog books?

The problem I have with it is that it has to be 30 consecutive minutes.

I used to take a 10 min break every 2 1/2 to 3 hrs. If I do three of them prior to the start of my 8th hour why is that not good enough?

 

Once you get so many regs, they start contradicting one another.

The state of TN just made some changes to it's OS laws. All the drivers jumped for joy when they allowed you to run 24/7 OS but they also put more curfew restrictions on towns. They tried to make it look like they were trying to help truckers when they were just trying to make you run through town after dark.

 

Since your in the scheming mood assuming at that point you work for yourself

James A Smith logs into his trucks and burns up his logs

James Smith signs in and melts some of HIS logs

Jimmy Smith eats up some more.......

Nope they update your hours to a server and when you log into the new truck it downloads your logs.

 

My point exactly. All the so called outlaws that ##### about elogs are the whole reason we have all these regulations. If they were safer then we'd still be good.
