If he had been running legal he wouldn't have been there to be involved in the accident

So Ramblin, what happens when you're forced to go elogs? I've never hauled livestock, but over my years have chatted with many who do, and if there is a perfect example of how the current HOS cannot fit every faucet of trucking, livestock hauling is it.

Yes then maybe he would have been involved in a different fatality accident earlier he dodged by running illegal and not being there. The whole what if game is just pure silliness.

I got a 96' with a Pre emissions 3406E so the E-log mandate won't affect me as only 2000 and up are included.

oh crap your right. Well that does it. Apparently running legal gets you harsher prison sentences than running outlaw.

Their seems to be some discrimination in where the harsher sentences are handed out. Immigrants with poor understanding of our language and laws seem to get the worst sentences while natural born citizens seem to fair much better.

In the case of the gas tanker he was really screwed because he rolled over onto a group of wealthy jews and he was a immigrant with no english skills or understanding of our justice system,

Well, now, that's mighty impressive...but if we're splitting logs, this ain't too bad either...

...but if you're in a hurry (or just have a lot of wood to split), this one might be more practical...

I can't speak for ramblingman, but generally window licker is a derogatory term used to describe mentally handicapped people, who, while being on a bus, lick the windows. I assume he is inferring that the current average driver for mega fleets are little more than mentally handicapped, hence the inference that today's average freight hauler is a window licker.

Not to be confused with pot licker. A pot licker is usually the last person at a job to eat, usually the pot walloper or bus boy. Since they are the last to eat, and deemed less valuable to the workforce, the term pot licker refers to the last to eat, since he has to lick the pot.

    I hope that helps.
