The other day I stopped at the Petro in Atlanta off of 285.
I never thought that I would give high marks at a T stop in Atlanta, Ga.
But the staff there always has a good attitude.
The foods not bad either. The other day I was going to have some chicken fried steak. Instead checking out the lunch buffet. I saw mid bugs. So I had that and a salad.
What a nice change instead of the usual stuff.
Then there's a flying J in Dalton, Ga. The waitresses are basically run of the mill, but one. I won't mention her name to protect her privacy
However I had misplaced a fairly expensive cell phone cover. When I went back for breakfast. The same waitress remembered me and fetched the case.
I thought that was quite nice of her. So I did leave her a higher tip then usual and told her mgr.

The Petro in Atlanta has always been a pretty decent place just don't go wanderin around after dark... pretty rough neighborhood. Not as bad as the old T/A on the south side though...WOW was that place bad.

It was a much nicer place when it was the big A truck stop ! LOL but then Petro tore it down and put in the place that we all know today .

As far as the big chain T stops are concerned. I think Petros are the best bet as far as quality of service. I know the its the TAs that own the Petros, but what w difference in quality between the two.

You gotta love the old BIG A, get robbed twice walking in have your truck broken into while you're inside then get robbed three more times on your way back to the truck.

Boy, i am glad that old T/A on the south side is gone. Parked in there a few times. Each of them times, i just set my brakes when Lucy Luchious and Linda Lovely paid a visit... Nasty.

There's a TA in Knoxville, TN off of exit 374. THe food is average ut the workers there are pretty good.
The there's a TA in Greencastle, Pa. There's a cashier there that looks just like Sarah Palin, but she's about 2 feet shorter, real nice personality, the other waitresses are pretty cute as well.
