Two TQL load nightmares

I have done it before, Just depends on what you get going in. Not often I might add!

 

So it's TQL's fault that you don't know how to run a Transportation business? Should of had your Accessorial Policy agreed to in writing before dispatching the truck. That way all you'd have to do is invoice and wait your for your payment terms date to pass. No pay? File a claim!

 

True story. Seen them offer $8K for nogales to dallas few months back.

 

I have gotten a few decent deals like that from them. Have not in awhile.

I happened to deadhead 700 miles every now and then, where then would be more accurate these days due to diesel cost, but it was always straight home or towards home.
I blocked completely TQL on my phone for quite some time now. Their living up to their TQL-ish reputation is more than evident on this forum's pages alone. No other broker has the same degree of notoriety.

 

Landstar comes close, no? Based on what I've read about them.

 

I only hauled once for Landstar. It was one of the very first loads I booked as a new MC.
It turned out to be a double-brokered CH Robinson load and paid horrible but I took it for the lack of better choice. Had I known before I got the BOL that it was double brokered, I would have aborted loading process and cancelled. I aborted loading processes before, if something unacceptable and mischievous revealed itself on the part of a broker.
After I billed them by mail, they still took $1 dol for their bill processing fee.
I would not be suprised if they are NOT any better than TQL but TQL is at least not known for double brokering, which is the lowest of parasitic things to do...to take a load off of DAT then repost it for a few hundred less. I can live with a stolen or cheated TONU or detention but I can't stomach double brokering.


I see them and hear from others that they double broker many loads on DAT.
I don't trust them.
I trust and value even Uber Freight higher than Landstar brokers.

 

It's only because of their Double Brokering agencies, that sadly completely messed up their reputation.
I never had problems with agencies, that had their own shippers freight.

 

Tql is my last ditch effort before deadheading back to where I came from, which 99% of the time I can still Atleast break even on doing, if not afford beer for the weekend, you’ll get no accessories usually but you will atleast get paid for doing the load, which is why I go high to begin with and still better then some of these shady brokers out here
