Back in the day, Eagle went through some pay issues, and everybody was looking.
Management kept blowing smoke about the adjustment being coming next week next month, blah blah blah.
So, i applied at a few competitors.
    Those calls haven’t stopped, ironically.

    Another alternative option:

First -- take the the job with Swift (if in fact you can get it). Drive for them for at least a year and a half; 2 years is better.

    Then switch over to tankers.

If you do the above -- when you later land that tanker job, you will then APPRECIATE IT A LOT MORE.

I worked for Tidewater in Wilmington but it was a long time ago. Did 2 runs to Fayetteville a night, off every day. Good company. When we moved to Houston for my wife’s job, the terminal manager in Wilmington called the TM in Houston, and I just transferred over. Unless things have changed, the Old Dominion terminal in Wilmington is very small. I believe Southeastern has a place there.

Chinatown, can you provide a run down on TWT? Do you know anything about its PRO program that guarantees like $1750 a week? Thx

No, Tidewater has changed over the years, so I'm not up-to-date on the company.

I'm working with the recruiter now for their Pro Plan which is just the OTR position. It'll be at least a few more weeks until I can do orientation. I had to get a passport, hazmat and twic. This week I have a doctors appointment for a lung test which is required and you have to purchase your own respirator mask, which is $90 on amazon. I was told you get the minimum $1750 pay as long as you're available each week and only take a 34 reset home. If you take more hometime than that you won't get the guaranteed pay.
