Tying down tarps.

    I'm not sure where your getting your rubber rope but I find it to secure the tarp better and hold tension just as good.
    But hey everyone to their own. Possible how you might be using it or the size of rubber rope.

    I feel that the hollow rubber rope is harder to snap that the solid one. If you have a chance try both out. At least they are inexpensive once you factor in how versatile those strands, long or short can be.

    Climbing rope doesn't stretch.
