not for these things. They will check when an autopsy is done.
I find it rather interesting that we have FAA type physicals with differing requirements, the FAA has something to do with these standards for a while longer than the FMCSA but the FMCSA is nit picking because they are out of control.

What messed me up was I accidently revealed it during a physical and the doctor gave me a 1 yr. card.
That's stressful knowing your career is on the line with a new physical every 12 months.TugHillRider, dennisroc and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
Found out after he moved on [his cousin ratted him out after the fact] that he was diabetic, the thermos was his shot packed with ice.....he managed to get a 2 year cert every year he was in NJ....Chinatown Thanks this. -
I'm not going to tell you to do anything illegal, the doctor will only give you a 1 year certificate if you have type 2 diabetes and may request the paperwork from recent bloodwork to show your a1c.
But...just something to think about.
The doctor doing the physical wont know you have type 2 unless you tell him or are pissing sugar, and some diabetes meds (farxiga for example) can make you piss sugar. Of course, other things can cause it too, like if you happened to eat a big breakfast with syrup smothered pancakes and orange juice before having the physical.
