My company is transport national. Smaller company based out of oak creek Wisconsin, have several yards out and about in the cereal us. www.tntrans.com if you want to know more.
that's understandable, boats tend to slow a little bit.Giddy-Up-Go Thanks this. -
I shoot for a daily gross of $250 minimum to me per day. Like Gunner, I run for percentage. Flatbedder minimum should be in the $1200-$1500 per week range running regional and taking weekends off.
Why? We run more risks. It's pretty hard to fall out of a dry van or Reefer. Plus beating the snot outta your body throwing chains and dragging tarps. Plus the inherent risks of a lot of our loading and unloading areas.
And in the amount of drive time we lose due to loading, securing, tarping, untarping, in unsecuring, unloading, and stowing gear, and you begin to see why we get paid a higher rate than the guys that just swing doors and max out their 11 hour drive clocks.lovetwodrive and Giddy-Up-Go Thank this. -
Thanks
Thanks gunner I'm out of South Carolina so your company many too far out the reason I started that post is because I don't know if the pay is good or not but as far as staying out 2 to 3 weeks at at time I think the net pay should be a little more that 7 to 8 a week but hey I could be wrong -
I know that percentage pay is always better than mileage pay just for the simple fact it really doesn't matter what you get paid a mile if your not giving the miles to run
-
Its no problem man, we don't have any yards down that way, we have loads that go that way, but they want the drivers to live within a specific geographical area
-
Yea I visit the website and I don't think I'm ready for that type of trucking right now lol little too much for me lolGunner75 Thanks this.
-

I average 1350 gross per week As a regional company driver in the upper Midwest.
