    Sounds like hes a Lease-Op, so theres a $700+ truck note to pay weekly. With Tankers Jan into Feb can be the slowest time and then things start to pick up. Also, it is better to get on somewhere with % if you are going to do the O/O thing, that mileage pay is just atrocious.

    Are you sure it's 2,600 or is it 3,600 per week. Either way that's really rough for tanker work. But it's important to be honest so that new guys on this site can learn. And the experienced guys can see how horrible things really are. Only way to get rates up is to say no to the bad ones and know the market.
