When we get new trucks the Q/C's are bolted inside of the drawersbehind the driver. This is for the purpose of the driver not being able to use them while driving.

HOWEVER, after the first driver gets them they rip them out of the drawers, so they can be used any where the cord will allow.....LOL

your in the truck, its in gear and your moving down the road. From this point on, anything you do that is not directly related to the driving of that truck is a no-no. I turn my cell phone on for ten minutes a day between 9 and 9:30 to do my check call and let them know I'm still alive and the load status. then I turn it off till I shut down for the night, then I make any personal calls. during the day the c.b. is down or off.. Just my idea of how things work. but no accidents in 34 years. so if you don't mind my saying,"if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Not sure if this is true or not.........

Just spoke to a guy, we were talking about GPS's...........

He stated that the state of Minn. was in process of passing a law against drivers even having laptops open or even on while the truck is iin operation on the road.

He also stated that it is illegal to have anything mounted to the inside of the windshield's.........GPS's, Satelite radio's, notepads, etc.

Again for discussion I have not been able to verify any of this at this time. If anyone can verify please acknowledge........

Be careful out there in this weather..............SLOW DOWN
