They hiring for all plants last time checked I have worked for them for 5 months been driving 14 years ..was put on there e-logs when I started .I get about 2400 to 3000 miles a week .they always get you home the day you want .I have worked a lot different company's so far they have been good to me.and I complain about low miles ....but if you want to drive legal this is the place .they keep you moving .you never do a 34 hour resent .they just give loads that use what time you have left .I have read 3 books. Every day you get to stop and get your break .e-logs are awsome.

I have family that lives in Shelbyville, TN and the whole entire area is overrun with Somalis who work at the packing plants there. These workers are imported and given work visas issued to them. It's fairly typical to see 10-15 of these ppl living in one house! Both of my cousins are teachers in the public school system there and the strain this has put on the system is unimaginable. Kids can't speak English and are dumped off in our public schools!

That was my main pickup place when I left the house. You are right. I thought they were Mexicans? Anyways I watched one shift change and like 200 Somali's, 1 black man and 1 white man would come out. The same going in. They are fair in their hiring decisions.

I like the Tyson store they got there. You can get all them big $7 bags of wings and chicken for $2. I always stock up. If I lived in Shelbyville, I would be eating Tyson 5 days of the week, lol.

Tyson seems to take care of their own. It's the contract drivers that get the other loads. Sure I can drive 1000 miles in 30 hours. What about the 5 drops when I get there? They don't figure drop time per DOT regulations. Just the time to the first drop.

Hello Ive been with Tyson for 3 years now they pay very well .40 per mile with 1 yr exp. plus short miles are up to .46 per mile they will get you home every 10-14 days if you would like can't make money sitting at the house.I love this company I wont say its perfect anyone who says there are no problems at there company is a liar Tyson will piss you off like any other company at times but they are really family oriented. and if you have a problem personal fianacial they really do have your back I have learned from personnal experience we have new equipment they are automatics if your home more than a few days a shuttle driver may use it.The shops are great they take care of our equipment. We dont hire in Florida or Ca and I cant give you a list of where we do hire out of but you may call Ken Shire 1800 9336442 for any questions and tell him red 56757 told you to. any thing else I can tell you please let me know
