U Bolts Torque Value

    I wonder if you loosened both sides, took torsion bar off, if everything would line up. Then put torsion bar back on last. Can’t imagine the spring being distorted, except for a broken alignment nib, like Boxcarkidd mentioned. A good welder can build up a new one, along with a grinder. Along with checking the bushings.

    The air bag on the driver side is perfect.

    No adjustment needed there.

    Maybe the spring is fine and it wore a bit from moving over time.

    Perhaps using a welder, grinder etc can get it back to perfect.

    My boss said the air bag is close enough to perfect he’s not worried about it.

    Truck had to leave yesterday so it was a quick fix.
