I hear that, I do!
Dispatchers and mechanics can be a Big truck truck driver's best friend or worst nightmare.
It's especially gratifying when a shipper or receiver gets their undies all wadded up for some
unreasonable reason and threatened to call my dispatcher.
I encouraged 'em to do that, and provided 'em with a name to ask for.
I pity the fools who made the call. :smt091

It's nice to know that dispatch has your back.

Things if I knew our typin on Ambian and vodka...
She was drowning her sorrows while waiting for her husbands Greyhound Bus to bring him home. The urge to rant about the experience and the alcohol combined to make for an entertaining post. -
I believe that was BJ Thomas back in the 70's?

I believe you are correct Traveler.
Back in the good OLD days when we were YOUNGER.

Nope. That was the Byrds' big hit! But a true statement that makes more sense today than decades ago!
-
By golly, you're right again Traveler.
I heard David Crosby in my head and figured C.S.N. (and sometimes Y).
I plum forgot about The Byrds. (Memory, --- second thang to go
don't'cha know.)
A lotta talent in that band over the years. -
Here is the problem. weather it be Prime or some other company they build up the lease program to make it sound like you will make tons of money. hey maybe you can but the majority of these new lease operators have no capital for back up, have no business sense, and are star struck by the chance to THINK they are O/O. If your starting out go company and save your money. build up that bank account first before you take the plunge. The same goes for New Drivers who just come out of Training and get sucked into a Lease Deal. Setting yourself up for Failure without the Knowledge of the business your going into is like playing with Nitro your gonna Lose.
