U.S. Express Orientation be prepared

blue might not be exaaggerate too much
we lost lot of freedom after 911
used too be lot of people running cross country takin a nap sometimes
i saw no reason to lose sleep but did some sick hours to deliver on time.
used to be catch 22 to keep the good loads coming and avoid the phone call from the safety man

 

He states that he ran from long island ny to seattle in 2.5 day with stopping at farewell bend or for 5 hrs. The miles that way were 2961 mi. I just dont see that happening especially stopping for 5hrs at a Poe . Where did he even find time to even catch any sleep?

That was then this is now. Prior to big bro watching your every move, you could of got away with a lot more then now.
I use to run 3300 miles a week and was home 4 to 5 nights a week for at least 10 to 12 hours at a time. Was I tired? Ofcourse! Did I make money? LOL. Can it be done on the new rules with a computer log, I have no idea and dont plan to find out.

I was mislead when I went to orientation. I was told that my physical which still had over a year on it would be accepted, but guess what, when I went to orientation they would not even look at it much less accept it. This in turn irritated me and I could not get my bp down enough to qualify. They basically said tough S*** and get the hell out of my building. and yes you do have to pay for your own way home. Looking
back I am glad they rejected me. I went home and went back to work for Schneider. Everyone who says shneider is not a good company to work for wrong.

i saw on their website you must quit your current job before orientation
they gonna make sure you dont have a job when they run you off
no steady long term experienced driver should deal with scum like that

Good to me and my family, scum like u hide #### then act surprised when the company sends u back to the house. Re: Schneider driver u are no doubt one of those people
who act like its everyone else's fault u have health problems. do some push a ways at the buffet and walk more, eat better, and take care of your self man!

I was a driver trainer for us express for 2 years and depending on your attitude US can be great or terrible. It's getting old listening to all the entitlement truck drivers out there.
US Express is far better bottom feeder than the others. Yes, I've had my moments with them, however if u act like a professional. driver not a whining lil baby problems get solved. and u can make money. Good thing U S Express did not pick up either one of u.
