Um wow that's kind of crazy. Well I'm going for it soon so I'll see what happens or if I have to punch a trainer. I'm leaving PAM Transport. I went on medical leave from them from a gall bladder surgery so I'd rather try something else then get back in a PAM truck. I tried to work with a small company but I'm screwed up from running Autoshifter to long. I have problems with the stick shift so to get working again I'll try US Xpress. Even if it's not the best of companies I think it will at least be better then PAM.
i came from decker when it was part of pam will just say i think you will like it. For me at least I no longer get stuck in shops. Most time have preplan. Newer and better equipment. clean terminals and more of them.
Okay thanks that's really good to hear. Do you think orientation and everything will go better and faster since I'm an experienced driver? I made it 2 years with PAM Also I was working with a recruiter for a job out of Michigan. Said they could get me something with weekly home time. I was wondering where they have terminals in Michigan near the border. But yeah I tried stick shift with a smaller company and it's giving me problems. I basically had it down until I got to steeper hills in PA with a heavy load. I'm discovering that sudden deceleration gives me trouble. Also this small company truck has over a million miles and it shows.
not sure on routes i do know they do auto loads there to laredo they have a terminal in romulus that is only one
