GEE> US EXPRESS like welfare pay. sliding pay scale is another way of saying we dont respect you. 2500mi sliding pay scale (600mix.31=186.00) average company (600mix.36=216.00) . thats 30dollars for every 600mi you run there screwing you out of . thats about 150.00 dollars a week. based on working 40weeks a year you lose 6000.00yr . 6000.00 dollars equals .06mi based on 100,000 miles a year which is what the avg company wants you to run to break even. why would you do that. Im making 1200.00 gross a week . home every night. work every other weekend. UNBELIEVABLE. The way trucking companies take advantage of drivers. Cause they know you dont know any better than what they tell you.

When i first started driving a truck i was making .28mi. 21yrs ago. I pulled reefers for most of my driving . most weeks i make more unloading myself than i did driving. sliding pay is a nothing more than a sales pitch. Do the math. For the life of me cant understand why people buy into theses schemes.

Not everybody is crazy enough to pay outrageous prices for homes in MA and CA and pay the high taxes on them . Better houses can be bought for less than half that in many states . We don't pay outrageous heating oil bills either .
