As far as I am concerned, you did quit. FL, GA, and TN are all "right to work states" and thus, you are hired at will and can quit or be fired at will. You were hired to drive a truck. You choose not to team. The key word is choose. Getover it and quit your dang whining..........................

I had a friend who drove for USX. He hated it. In fact his time was there was so bad, it made him leave the industry. I myself worked for Covenant at one point and have no gripes with them. Had a chance to go USX, glad i didnt now.

Very smart idea of having a credit card for the unforeseen circumstances. You never know when USX might pull a fast one or the truck breaks down in the middle of nowhere.

If I remember, USX does have "driver recruiters" and "Driver Liaisons" as their called ... these are thru-and-thru "company men" and chosen by "performance" ... of some kind ...

I have no dog in this fight, but a certain poster here could be a driver as well having a "desk" job at the same time.

The rehtoric just sounds ruthless to me - and these types are the first ones to cry a river when the tables turn - (read Arrow)

    Karma's a ***** ... I wish you all the best.

This company is a complete joke . They do not care about their drivers . I was with them for 2 years and went through 3 trucks . Truck always going into the shop . Had to call payroll every other week due to problems . They lost 2 lumper receipts and they had to get permission to pay me back after i faxed them my copy . Then took a month to get it . Safty has no clue what they are even doing . Average mile a week 2000 sometimes 1500 and thats running illegal !!!!

I will never go back regardless of what the pay is .
