But what about the "AUTOSHIFTS" are they rough? What about mountain grades with an autoshift?
-
-
It seems a lot of companies are getting away from those autoshifts now due to dependability/cost/maintenance issues. Not to mention most of the better paying co's require experience on standard shift to consider you for employment. I guess it's ok if you want to finish your career with USX though.

They put the lumper fee on my fuel card then I had to register a comcheck.. in order to get the money BACK that was put on my fuel card I had to send a receipt in so the money wouldnt come outta my check.. r u lost ??
As for the automatics.. they are NICE !!!!!!!!!! Ill take a automatic over a standard stick shift any day of the week and u can call me a pansey or any other name i could care less...Beechvtail Thanks this. -
What are you US Xpress drivers getting for miles a week now??
-
when i was there the miles sucked that was back from 2007 thru 2009 .. one week id get 3000 next 2100 nxt 1500 2000 1100 3200 2400 2700 1000 1300 700 etc... -
Yes, USX pays for the lumpers, but the drivers have to write a company check to pay for the unloading service, then the driver receives a receipt, sometimes that gets lost in the transfer. Believe me, USX is very quick at taking money out of your paycheck and the driver has to go through hell to get his/her money back.

Its strange, yea im veteran driver.companies, seem to be doing whatever they can to stay afloat.Inventing hidden fee's,BS rules, mistreating the drivers/an putting policies in place to cover driver stupidity/negligence.There's a growing epidemic in the quality of people;in the entire country. The railroad is running commercial ad's on TV,stating that they can haul the freight more efficiently;anyone who's not in trucking likes that idea;less trucks on the road"great".4wheelers (all types)wont have to worry about having an accident with a inexperienced truckdriver.WHO'S TO BLAME? for this industry goin to hell?
