Yup. The same people that get online here and ##### about how low the posted rates are on truckstop.spyder7723 Thanks this. -

Putting some thought into this, I think brokers should be a little more nervous about this than carriers or drivers.
-
Are the rates considerably lower than other brokers you have used? I'm thinking of using it as leverage in my own negotations -
It all depends on the city your in....when i visited vegas....every uber driver there said they make an excellent living

If it is 5% flat. I am all for it. I like transparency. The market will adjust what shippers need to pay, simply by carriers refusing to haul or going under when the rates are too close to their costs. The very load booking phone talk determines the rate only and load descriptions. It cannot be called negotiation; I call it a pseudo-negotiation; all you do is to argue about the rate; just like at a #### flea market when you buy five pairs of socks (which I don't). Where are the negotiations skills to be applied here? Negotiations are possible when there are many variables; many possibilities; exchange of favors; and opportunities; "I pay you/charge less now in exchange for sending me your load tenders as a primary carrier" or something like that. They are present when Werner wants to extend the contract with Family Dollar. But when booking a random load off a loadboard? I don't think so.
