Drivers... I need your input Please....
I picked up a load yesterday from Uber, I get to the receiver and I get kicked off the yard because Uber owes them money for missing too many appointments. I was stuck at the receiver while Uber tried to sort things out. I ended up spending 15 hours there for a lousy $200 layover.
I still have the load in my truck and been calling Uber and getting nowhere with them while they are still trying to figure this out. I need this load off my truck. I have a pickup tomorrow. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO.
Thank you, drivers, and stay safe out there.

I’d bring it back to the shipper and move on.

How many billions did Uber loose last year?
8thnote Thanks this. -
I can't get hold of the shipper. I have made an arrangement with a cross-dock place and put in a call to OOIDA to figure what the right thing to do here is. But this load needs to come off my truck and Uber is clueless. I also gave Uber 2 hours to figure it out.
TheLoadOut and alds Thank this. -
What are you hauling?

Cancel your next load . I showed up to Budweiser the other day early and on time. they had 30 trucks in front of me and took 11/2 hrs to check in and spent 6 hrs at shipper, when I put in for detention they told me I couldn't because I was late for appointment. Uber didn't care , when I tried to explain that even there app said I was there they said no that's not what its telling us . It even says in the detention policy to keep app on so we can leverage the info for detention lol .

I got my detention that is not the issue. The issue is to get this load off my truck. Uber does not know what to do with the load.

I had 2 pallets rejected on a convoy load, Walgreens did want it, called them let them know, didn't hear anything the next morning so I headed back home, shipper only an hour from the house. Ended up getting 10 or 12 days layover. 900$ load tallied up to 3500$ after all the layover, if I wasn't at home during that time i would've found a cross deck or some where to store it.
alds and TheLoadOut Thank this.
