    I have been wondering how many of you USA truckers would want to spend a few weeks over here (UK) work experience, low loader work in return for a few weeks with you guys over there?

    Pretty sure there is no way to do it legally though, or even illegally

    Would be great to see the difference on how we do things differently. No money will change hands, purely just spend time, not driving but experiencing the job. Maybe a wild thought but I feel its worth looking in to. The different trucks, rules and regulations etc.

    Here is just one difference
    What you call Low Loader work is what (I think) we call Low Boy on the east coast and Low Bed on the west coast
    We also use the terms RGN and Heavy Haul

    See, I have already learned something . I work for a construction company mainly moving a ashalt paver and a planer. We as a company have 20 tonne tippers, grab lorries etc.

    You could Probabaly get to Canada and drive there .
    It appears that a lot of drivers from India are moving to Canada.
    And I think you can cross the border and deliver in the states . But I’m not sure .
