Ultra cab flat top conversion.

Hey guys. I did a search but dint come up with much info but Im looking on info for converting an ultr cab stand up to a flat top sleeper. I like the looks of a flat top and the lower heigth for going under the loading racks at the chemical shippers I visit but yet want a little more height then the flat top provides. Im thinking the ultra cab height will give me just enough room to stand up yet still give me plenty of clearance at the loading racks.

How much weight difference is there in a stand up 70 inch bunk, verses a 63 in flat top?

I’m interested in converting a 70 inch stand up to a flat top or just changing it out to 63 inch flat top? I wonder the difference in weight?

There wont be enough weight to talk about. I'm betting 500 lbs difference at the absolute most.

Im pretty sure @wore out is correct. My dealer told me going from the 70" double bunk I currently have to a 48" flattop would drop me like 1000 pounds but he wasnt 100% sure.
